It's been awhile since we last posted and so much has happened! We've had a very exciting summer, which you will see from other posts soon.

Our biggest summer project our family took on was renovating Erin and Justin's new house they purchased in Winchester!! We moved them out of their house in the country into our house at the end of May and finally moved them into their new home in the middle of August. They now live on the opposite end of the street we live on. How convenient!

In the midst of all the construction in the new house, we took a family vacation to Chicago for the weekend! We had a blast! Sam was already going to be in Chicago for the weekend with Farm Credit Services, leaving on Friday, and taking mom as her guest, where they enjoyed staying at the Ritz-Carlton hotel. The rest of us left early Saturday morning and joined them. We spent Saturday afternoon and evening walking on Michigan Ave. and visiting Millennium Park and Navy Pier. After picking mom and Sam up on Sunday, we headed north to Great Lakes, IL to visit my boyfriend Caleb at the Great Lakes Naval Base. We spent 4 hours with him and got the grand tour of the base. We even stopped for a few pictures down by Lake Michigan.

The newest excitement in our family is.... Erin and Justin will be welcoming Baby #2!! The baby is due on April 15th...Tax Day! Yes, they will be finding out what the baby is. We are thrilled!
