Well, this is Sam posting to the Bentley blog. I'm here to share with you the scenes from Father's Day in Bluffs. My family (including Erin and Justin) headed to Bluffs on Sunday to have lunch with Grandpa & Grandma Bentley, along with Uncle Marty, Aunt Kim, Nathan, his fiance' Mindy, and Corey. The food was good and after Corey and I were done serenading everyone on the guitar (not really...we're both learning at this point), we all headed out to the gazebo for a little washer action. We narrowed it down to Nathan and Erin being the only ones who did not play the game. Erin had an excuse as to her non-participance...Nathan, what's yours? As you can see from this picture, Grandma is a mighty good washer game player. She put her game face on and showed us all up...well, not exactly. She and Corey lost to Uncle Marty and Dad. But, they played hard and had fun. Notice Grandpa in the background cheering on his woman. :)

After my turn of washers, I took a little jaunt up to the edge of the timber where the swing is located and took in all my surroundings. It's really nice up there. Give me a book and a bottle of water and I'm set...could have been there all day. Whoops! How'd that pic of me get on there? Oh, well. :) I won't talk anymore tonight. It's been a long day and I'm super tired.

I love that picture of Mom!!!!! Thanks for sharing about Father's Day, Sam. We hated not being there. Glad to get to see the pix.
